Welcome to the third annual Outburst UK Pride Festival.

An inclusive event regardless of race, nationality, age, gender or orientation, this year we have decided to include the festival as part of the Pride London festivities and will be the first BME Pride event that will be included within the two week celebrations....the Pride Fortnight.

The festival kicks off at Midday with music from some of London's top DJs giving you rhythms from Africa, Caribbean, the UK and International.

Top acts this year are Denise Pearson from 5 Star, remember them? She is currently performing in the west end musical Thriller Live! about the life of Michael Jackson. Plus Angie Brown, Akil Wingate from Paris, and you loved Michael Ashanti and 4Flava so much that we have invited them back to give you some more of those soulful grooves. Plus, we have some surprise guests for you....

There will be food and community stalls on display from various sections of the community, do stop by to see what's on offer on the stalls and to have a chat with the various vendors/organisations.

If you have something unique to say or sell, get your word or wares on display at the 2009 Outburst UK Black Pride Festival. To make this event as successful as possible, we are inviting you to supply your application for a stall, give us a call on 0844 357 8681 to discuss your requirements.

An addition to this years festival are two film screenings, and these will be shown on the mid-level of the venue.  The times for these films will be on the Film Screenings page or the Festival Schedule page.

Throughout the day, there will be entertainment on the main stage and you will be able to join in by taking part in the Swag Contest, Sexiest Girl Next Door and Walk Like A Model.  More details on these later on.  There will be cash prizes and trophies for the winners...so stay tuned.

We return this year with our signature fashion show, so if you think you can strut your stuff, why not send us an email and we will get back to you.

There will be something for everyone and if it's not on the agenda, tell us and we will try our best to include it.....be reasonable now. 

Between 9pm and 10pm, we will have a fireworks display, after which we will continue the party until Midnight........or........we might just surprise you!
