We believe that skill development is a great activity for young and talented artists, whether they are a dj, singer, dancer, poet or actor.  We genuinely believe that we have a lot of young talents coming through who are as good as any across the professional playing fields. ImageAshley McKenzie is a 20 year-old from Croydon, and was a contestant on last season's X Factor.  His original style, and good looks have earnt him thousands of fans around the country, and have also been responsible for him carrying out modelling work for Topman and the Storm model agency.



His musical influences are varied. When he was young he used to listen to what his sister listened to back in the day like Grease, Dirty Dancing, old school R & B, a bit of everything. From his Mum's music he learnt to appreciate Reggae, Queen, and retro music through to his own taste, Little Mo, Amy Winehouse, Beyonce and Stevie Wonder. He says that Little Mo is underrated and his favourite artist vocally. Ashley's favourite album is one of hers called "Based On A True Story". He respect all the top artists, Barry White, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder.

Ashley is on stage at 4.30pm.
