I congratulate the Outburst UK Board for coordinating this high profile celebration of Black lesbian and gay culture. I also applaud their focus on community self-empowerment and providing safe spaces for the Black lesbian and gay community. This is particularly relevant in London, which is home to the largest and most diverse Black lesbian and gay community in Europe.
