We believe that skill development is a great activity for young and talented artists, whether they are a dj, singer, dancer, poet or actor. We genuinely believe that we have a lot of young talents coming through who are as good as any across the professional playing fields. So get in touch.

SATURDAY 25th August sees the fi rst annual Outburst Black Lesbian and Gay Pride Festival taking place at the Renaissance Rooms and Terrace in Vauxhall. The event will run from midday through ‘til 7pm and headlining on the main stage is Russell Marshall, featured artist for the Hoxton Whores, plus fi ve DJs on rotation and twelve new up and coming performers including singers, dancers and a rap artist.
There’ll also be a fashion show, plus community and food stalls catering for the African, Caribbean and European taste buds. The Renaissance Rooms’ three rooms will play host to the Brenda Fassie Room, playing R’n’B, Hip-Hop, African Beats, Reggae, Soca and Bashment, the Brian Williamson Room, playing Classics, Soul, Reggae, Funky House and Latin beats, and the Justin Fashanu VIP Lounge with its own entertainment and bar. Out on the terrace there’ll be stalls, a chill out area and a café.
Tickets for general admission are just £10 and VIP tickets will be £30 and include access to the VIP Lounge, free champagne, entertainment, food and an Outburst UK T-Shirt. And after the afternoon’s celebrations, the party continues at the Chocolate Lounge in Kennington from 10pm until 3am, free with a wristband.
