Volunteers are needed year round.  We are always looking for volunteers for the Outburst UK Black LGBTQ Pride Festival. We need people to work in a variety of different departments including pre-festival set up, helping with vendors, manning the information booth, staff catering, assistance with sponsor stalls, and much much more. The key here is flexibility. We will need folks ready, willing, and able to go anywhere on the grounds to lend a hand and who are excited to be a part of a major team effort.

Sign up now and will send you information about volunteering with Outburst UK and, and add you to our volunteer email list. As events are planned, we will contact you about volunteering.

The Outburst UK Black Pride Festival is a one day extravaganza, bringing BME people and their friends together in celebration of their gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender community.

The festival, which takes place on the 9 August 2008, promises to be a fun-filled and informative day for everyone. We are already seeing a great response from volunteers, but there’s still plenty to do and more help is needed.

Whatever your skills or availability, Outburst UK event organisers are eager to hear from you. Volunteers are needed both in the run up to the event and on the day of the festival.

There are plenty of opportunities to utilise your skills and get involved. Whether you wish to work behind the scenes or on the day, you’re guaranteed to have a fun-filled and action-packed experience:
